Support and Services included in Base Camp and Leadership Summit
Districts participating in Base Camp and Leadership Summit receive outstanding service and follow-up included in the for-fee package, which includes:

Planning, pre-work, and orientation before Base Camp and Leadership Summit to prepare the superintendent and his or her team to make the most of the process
- Orientation for Improvement Implementation Coordinators (IICs)

The Base Camp and Leadership Summit sessions, each two-and-a-half-day training events, including performance training, high-quality materials, a proven improvement process, personalized on-site support, lodging, and meals

Specified follow-up, such as Communities of Learning and Achievement (COLAs)

Application Timeline and Costs
GLISI's Base Camp and Leadership Summit and related follow-up training and support are provided at minimal cost with scholarship seats available. A minimum of five-person teams are required at $2088.00 per seat.
Please follow the timeline below to ensure your application is received on time.
· Completed applications are due to GLISI by Tuesday, May 4, 2010. E-mail completed applications to latoya.handsford@glisi.org

e-mail acknowledgement from La Toya Handsford within 48 hours of sending your
application. If you do not receive this e-mail acknowledgement, please call La

· Approved district teams will be notified by Monday, May 17, 2010 via e-mail.
· Districts paying from FY10 funds should send checks made out to Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education (GPEE) on behalf of GLISI by Tuesday, June 1, 2010 to Pam Henderson (pam.henderson@glisi.org).
· Districts paying from FY11 funds must send a purchase order to Pam Henderson by Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
· Payment in full to GPEE (on behalf of GLISI) will be due no later than Monday, July 19, 2010 unless previous arrangements have been made with Pam Henderson (pam.henderson@glisi.org).
**GLISI's Base Camp and Leadership Summit program is pending funding and will be official in April, 2010.
