GLISI’s 2011-2012 Base Camp / Leadership Summit Cohorts are focused on increasing the leadership capacity of your District/School Leaders, your Secondary School Leaders, and your Teacher Leaders. Four Cohorts will be available during the 2011-2012 school year. We are pleased to announce that Cohort 33 and Cohort 36 will be customized for district/principal led teacher-leader teams. Further, due to the high interest in secondary school improvement, Cohort 34 will be customized for district/principal led middle and high school teams. Cohorts 35 will be focused on traditional district/school teams with member selection left to the discretion of the district.

All new districts must be accompanied by the superintendent. Returning district superintendents are encouraged to attend, but a superintendent’s designee may be assigned.

• Planning, pre-work and orientation before Base Camp and Leadership Summit to prepare the superintendent and his or her team to make the most of the process
