Strategic Improvement Planning & Balanced Scorecard Consulting and Support

District and school leaders receive consulting and support on developing and implementing a strategic improvement planning process using a Balanced Scorecard. Strategic planning will help determine where the district is going over the next year or more, how it’s going to get there and how it will know if it got there or not. GLISI supports districts to develop mission and vision statements, clarify organizational values, involve stakeholders, establish performance targets and monitor the implementation of the plan. The training is customized to the district’s level of knowledge of and implementation of a Balanced Scorecard.

Leader Performance & Supply Consulting

Districts can receive ongoing support for their implementation of a Leader Performance & Supply System™. Through consulting, work aids and templates, district design teams are facilitated through each step in the process of developing customized Competency Models for leaders, Performance Path Plans™ (development needs for groups of leaders), and Performer Path Plans™ (development needs for individual leaders) as well as aligned job descriptions and behavioral interview tools for selection and recruiting.

Performance Consulting

GLISI’s Performance Consultants (PCs) are experienced educational leaders who are also qualified in performance analysis and interventions. PCs may be contracted to support specific issues / challenges in school districts, Regional Education Service Agencies, universities, state agencies and other stakeholders in improvement of education leadership. Solutions that leverage GLISI’s proven processes and leadership are supported by PCs.

Consulting services provided to decision-makers in state agencies and similar organizations that seek to influence policy to support student achievement and working conditions for educational leaders at all levels. Services include policy analysis, policy and proposal development, grant writing assistance, and related efforts.

Consulting services offered to states and organizations nationwide who wish to emulate GLISI’s success as an organization that “works within the white spaces” to promote change in policies and practices that improve student achievement. Focuses on how to create a strengths-based, performance-centered model / process for improvement of education leadership, how to monitor impact, and how to use partnerships and innovation to “move the needle” on improvement statewide.
