The winner of the Broad Prize receives $1,000,000 in scholarships for high school seniors graduating in 2010. GLISI’s Power of 100 initiative has its first convening June
17-19 at Callaway Gardens. Participating Power of 100 districts are
Baldwin, Bibb, Clayton, Greene, Hancock, Pike, and Washington. This
pilot focuses on strengthening the “bench” of qualified leaders for
each district as well as leveraging learning communities to improve
student achievement. Participants include principals, district
leaders, and superintendents.
Congrats to our 2009-2010 Base Camp and Leadership Summit
Districts! Three cohorts have been filled to capacity, but you can
still put your district on the waiting list for the fourth for-fee
cohort in February and March. Interested in learning about the
